panish property prices are stabilising, according to latest figures from the Spanish Property Market General Index, which could be good news for anyone wanting to find a home on the Costa Blanca.The index, which is published by Tinsa, reached 1908 points in June, down just 0.4 per cent compared to May, reports Property Community.
In addition, real estate experts based in the country did suggest that the market is improving and figures from the National Institute of Statistics indicate that the market expanded 10.6 per cent in May compared with the same month in 2009.
Sales in Alicante, Catalonia and the Canary Islands showed the most improvement, increasing by 50 per cent, 26 per cent and 24 per cent respectively.
Last week, research by Standard Life highlighted that Spain's sunny climate and laid back lifestyle have made it a firm favourite with retirees, which could benefit homebuyers with Costa Blanca Property.
